Our team was tapped to pitch and produce behind-the-scenes content for the highly anticipated Barbie movie. Working from an early draft of the script, I helped shape the creative development strategy and partnered closely with producers and copywriters to craft our pitch deck.
Greta loved the deck and enthusiastically approved our campaign content. Our team produced and delivered content across broadcast, social, and online platforms, fueling the global buzz around this powerhouse film.
Being part of this campaign - executed almost entirely by a female team - was a career highlight. The film went on to be an international blockbuster, grossing $1.4 billion and setting the record as the highest-grossing film directed by a female in history.
Campaign Highlights
One of the standout moments of our campaign was a custom shoot in collaboration with Architectural Digest. We strategically leaned into the popularity of AD’s celebrity house tours, leveraging the excitement around this ‘top secret’ IP to launch the Barbie content campaign. This gave fans an exclusive first look into Barbie’s world from Barbie herself, Margot Robbie.
