Apple Spatial x Jawbone Canyon

Media Arts Lab

Creative Direction | Visual Research | Deck Design + Content | Pre-Production

Shot entirely on iPhone using Apple’s new 3D Spatial Video technology, this immersive short follows dirt bikers tearing through Jawbone Canyon’s dusty terrain. Created specifically for the Apple Vision Pro, the piece showcases the storytelling power of Apple’s Spatial ecosystem with raw, kinetic, cinematic visuals.

Brought in during early development by the project’s director, I supported concept planning, visual research, deck design, copywriting, and pre-pro planning. I also provided post-production recommendations, including a ripomatic I cut to bring our vision to life and secure buy-in from Media Arts Lab clients. This is my favorite kind of collaboration — working alongside lead creatives to shape ideas, communicate vision, and plan shoots that deliver.

The final piece will debut very soon and live exclusively within the Spatial Gallery App — a 3D viewer built into all Apple Vision Pro.

CUE SUGGESTION

Fruit Loop by The Beastie Boys
’Fruit Loop’ flips the script - a jazz-infused 90s Beastie Boys track that brings unexpected texture to the visuals. The laid-back groove creates a bold contrast to the kinetic dirt bike footage, making the piece feel elevated and editorial rather than traditional action sports. It still drives, but with swagger instead of speed, providing both edge and intention.
